Where we get your information

GlamST is in the business of augmented reality and image processing. As part of providing this service, we collect personal information from our users in a number of ways. When you register for certain GlamST services at our brand partner websites or apps, you are asked to provide personal information. This information is processed by these partners and by us, we collect only certain personal information needed to provide and oversee the service we render.

The type of information we have

The personal information we have about you is the following: the photo you upload to GlamST, your skin or hair tone, the device id that identifies the computer or phone your are using and a user id that identifies you as a user of our services. We may also use data collected when you use our technology through any of our partners to generate statistics and aggregate reports for internal use and for sharing with our clients and stakeholders. These statistics and aggregate reports will not contain any information that could identify you personally.

Why we collect your information

We collect your photo, skin and hair tone so you can try our services, without them you would not be able to try different styles of makeup, receive recommendations, and color match your skin stone. Please note we only keep you photo for a relevant time for you to try different styles, no longer than 24 hours. We collect your device id and user id to identify you as a user, as we do not collect you name or id number. The legal basis for the processing of this personal data is your consent, given to our partners at their website or apps, to provide a service to you. We also have legitimate interests to improve the service we provide. Please note you are not obliged to provide personal data, but if you do not, we will not be able to provide our services. For example, it will not be possible for us to let you try different styles of makeup without your photo or live video.

How we use your information

We use your information to manage your account and to help you manage your account, by allowing you to try the makeup looks and color cosmetics that are better suited for you. We might use your data to send you information you might find relevant as well. We may also use information to improve our software and to generate statistics and aggregate reports for internal use and for sharing with our clients and stakeholders, but these statistics and reports will not contain any personal information.

How we protect your personal information

We aim to always keep your personal data safe. In order to do so, we take the appropriate physical, technical and organizational measures to prevent as much as possible any alteration, loss or unauthorized access to your data. We store your personal information onto servers hosted by reputable third parties with restricted access servers. If you use our services from our brand partners apps or webpages in the European Union, your information will be stored in the EU or in a country which ensures an adequate level of data protection, according to the EU. How we share your information

We share your information with our partner company Advice Me SRL (incorporated in Uruguay) and our contractors as it is necessary for us to provide our services. We may also share your information with our brand partners with whom you register, which already have access to your personal information as you provide it to them in their websites or apps. We do not share your information with anyone else, unless any public authority or law enforcement agency asks for it and we are legally obliged to do so.

You have rights in relation to the information we have about you, including:
